Motion Sickness by Phoebe Bridgers
If you have somehow missed the release of Stranger In The Alps, please go give this record a listen. Phoebe is an incredible musician and her lyrics are what I need to hear on a daily basis.
Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks
This song exceptionally holds sentimental value to me. My Dad from when I was little used to tell my sister and I, “When you hear this song when I’m gone I want you to think of me.” Truthfully, i haven’t listened to it since we played it at his funeral but one day I’ll have the strength to do so again.
In Undertow by Alvvays
Molly’s vocals on this record blew my mind. Especially hearing them live, they sound exactly as they do on record. This song especially caught my attention with her vocal range.
Twilight by Elliott Smith
My boyfriend Matt actually introduced me to Elliot Smiths music just this year. This song is an emotional and delicate one.
UGH! by The 1975
Just all around a fun song off a solid album. The 1975 hold a special place in my heart, one of the best bands in my opinion live and they have created a new wave of music for themselves.
